At Kaspard, we believe residents should continue to live a normal life, as **autonomous** as possible. Residents are allowed to get out of bed for as long as the nursing staff decides. This time out of bed is customizable according to the needs of each individual.
When the bed exit time is exceeded, Kaspard immediately sends an alarm to the nursing staff via the **DECT** or the smartphone.
With this too long bed exit alarm, the staff is immediately notified of the risk, and can safely get the resident back to bed before a fall occurs. On average, 2 out of 3 falls are now **avoided** at night.
This unique and groundbreaking alarm restores residents’ confidence and independence while preserving mobility, with a 67% decrease in falls (2 out of 3 falls are avoided at night).
