Today, everyone is connected in real time with the whole world, yet a night nurse standing 10 m from a room may not know what’s going on in that room. We wish to contribute to the care facility of the future where real-time objective information improves the quality of care and promotes the autonomy and safety of the elderly.
Our vision
Working together to improve the quality of care for our elderly.
Today, seniors are becoming increasingly dependent in retirement and nursing homes – Ehpad. Families, worried and concerned about the condition of their relatives, are in search of the best possible assistance and support.
However, the care staff often lack resources and are themselves in search of the best possible equipment to provide residents with optimal assistance and follow-up, both day and night.
Kaspard’s mission is to improve the quality of care by providing real-time and continuous information, keeping the care staff at all times informed of the situation in the residents rooms. We believe it is important to maintain the autonomy and mobility of seniors, and we are constantly working on developing all the functions of the room of the future.
Today, our Kaspard solution is informative and allows for rapid intervention in case of falls or too long bed exits. It is also preventive in that its unique functions have been shown to reduce the number of falls. Soon Kaspard will also be predictive.
Our researchers are making every effort to identify indicators that predict a deterioration in health status or an increase in the risk of falls.
